Default Euro Vs. US injectors for CIS

What are the differences between the US and Euro CIS Fuel injectors?

I have a '78 930 and understand that the 78's had the euro fuel heads... correct?

Does a modified fuel head require the euro fuel injectors?

A friend has a set of US injectors with less than 5K miles and mine have about 80K miles so I'm considering changing the old Euro for the new(er) US. Is this a good or bad idea? My friend's CIS fuel head was modified but still only needed the US injectors.

thanks in advance for any information and suggestions.

I'm thinking the injectors were the same.

From what I know the Euro heads: " fuel injection (no oxygen sensor / Lambda control, and 6mm O.D. fuel lines to the injectors)"

Whle they look identical they do have different numbers stamped on them. Not sure if there is a functional difference. I know the fuel lines to the injectors are much larger on the euro's
