Default Queston about Goetz rings

I'm running down to pick up a set of rings this afternoon how do I tell the difference between the iron rings and the chrome moly rings? I am assuming the factory rings are Goetz chrome moly rings it's in an 88 930.

As far as I know, only iron rings can be used in your nikasil cylinders. Therefore, factory rings are most likely iron rings.

This is another reason why I went to steel cylinders so I could use moly rings that are not as brittle as the Goetze iron rings required by Nikasil cylinders. I call this additional detonation insurance.
