Anybody ever do a H5 to H4 headlight conversion? When I had my little incident at VIR, I broke the right headlight. It's cheaper to buy two H4's than one H5. Pelican had an adapter, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out.
I asked them and they couldn't tell me, other than it plugged in...
Anybody ever use one of these?

H4s are the way to go if you aren't planning on doing HIDs. I went ahead and wired my car to have a total of four 40AMP relays, each with an in-line fuse: one relay for the high and one for the low beams on each headlight. It's overkill as you can due it with just two relays, but what the hell! There is also a Rennlister that sells something called the "Surco relay kit". I'm pretty sure you will need those plug adadters too. I still have the H5s in my car...was planning on doing H4s but, well, then disaster struck and now I've got other priorites.

Thanks Jeff.
I found this: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...ght+conversion
Now if I can just get off the short bus and follow the directions, I'll be all set!

By the way...the relays should be installed regardless of if H4s are used. The factory is running all of the headlight current through the light switch!!! It's not uncommon for these light switches to overheat...and then, well, you'll have smoke that for once DID NOT come from the turbo/engine! HA!
