Default just how difficult is it to re-seal the sunroof?

I guess the age and sun has turned the black fabric seals with the white PVC 'string' which surrounds the sunroof into bits and pieces of junk. in fact, I think some of these ragged seals are clogging the sliding mechanism now because my roof won't open on one side.

the Anderson project book makes this exercise look tricky. and, our new 930/ Carrera CD doesn't make it look any easier.

does anyone have experience re-doing these seal strips? care to share your comments, please?

You have to pull the sunroof out. Drop me a call, I will walk you through it.
