Default Laguna Seca this weekend

Two of my friends and I are heading down to Laguna Seca Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We will all 3 be taking our Turbos. Mine haas 430 HP, Bills is stock, 282 hp and Steve has his 996 with 590 hp. We hope to be in the Porsche Platz, and we are on the list for the Porsche Motorsports Dinner at the Pebble Beach Dinner Saturday night at the Lodge, only 60 guests invited. I understand Porsche will have a couple of LeMans 24 hr drivers there. Anyone else going to the races and or the dinner?

I will be visiting San Francisco this Thursday and will be at Laguna on Saturday but my 911 Turbo will be back in New York. Looking forward to seeing the new Porsche LMP 2, pictures of the new livery were on the Speed Channel website.

I am really looking forward to seeing the new LMP2 Porsche, however In my opinion the best race of the weekend will be the Speed World Challenge GT Race. I just love those CTSV Cadillacs and Wolf Henzlers Porsche. Last year I was rooting big time for the two little Audi's. They would just leap forward at the start and go from the 3rd row to first place. Too bad they are not racing this year.

I was hoping to see the LMP2 at Petite LeMans two weeks a go. Although it was a good race and field, that didn't work out so I'm jealous. I just got my '85 Eurospec 930 back from the body shop today so I wasn't able to go to the Porsche Platz either. Oh well, there's always Sebring in March.
