930S steering wheel. My other option would be the Ruf steering wheel.

It's my wife's but it's a great cruiser. So comfy and gobs of torque (around 400). It does the occasional burnout which is naughty... Being a Brit I couldn't resist supporting them. They were really flying in 2000-2001...

Cool so the lights should be here tomorrow. Got the wheel coming Thursday (it's sooo much nicer than stock) and will hear on the RS panels tomorrow. Meanwhile a fellow rennlister locally has offered his help in terms of loaning me some stock parts to get the car smogged. Awesome.. I love this community!

Hey Alex - I am surprised you did not care for your EVO, I have had a lot of seat time in them, and I find the car completely addictive. The brakes and performance are incredible and the chassis has such great balance.

Uncorking 350-400hp is only about $1500 away too, which is great performance for the buck.

I agree! If I had been driving an Evo instead of a 2002 VR6 GTI, I might not be driving a 930 today! HAHAHA! It's just that the GTI needed so much in the performance department. And even though I was throwing money at it to build it to my liking...it just wasn't enough! The 930 is more than enough!

Don't get me wrong, it was probably the most amazing car in "stock" form I've ever driven for the track. Amazing. Modified it's a great, great car. Does it stay together tho? Sadly not. I got tired of the tranny then transfer case giving out That was the weakness. Otherwise for the price it has super-car performance. It had the best turn-in of ANY car I've driven.

OK so got the H4s on... I was going to paint the trim white but since I have a white car with black trim anyway I kinda like it black...

Wheel and other bits come tomorrow. Then I'm going to bolt the exhaust stuff I have (thanks sooo much Ralph!!!).

Alex you are very welcome. I hope to see you, in either of your Porsches, up on the coast soon! Hopefully I will have my car back from Stephen and we can play on my private track!

Ah, I was trying to figure out who snowboarder was! Heya Ralph. Yes, Ralph and I have some messes to clean up. A lot really. The patient will be in the ER for some time. It will be better than new when done.

I guess we shouldn't talk about the donuts in the parking lot then, right. J/K
