Default Schnell headers

I came across these on ebay and I was just wondering if anyone has ever used anything from these guys before.

I am interested to buy a good used turbo sport headers (GHL, Schnell or B&B), & a pair of front RSR/Bilstein Coil over.
Please email pics & price to: patrick@waggie.com.sg
Thanks.

I was told by someone in the know that Schnells(Vertex's brand name) 930 headers are made by that goingsuperfast guy and are essentially B&B copies. It make sense as from looking at the Schnell pictures look exactly like my unheated B&B's, weld locations, collector style etc. A fellow Pelican bought them when they use to sell for $750 about a year ago, but he is still in the engine rebuild phase and hasn't installed them yet. You might contact him to ask about build quality though.

I'd stick with B&B or GHL other than the more pricey ones from Marco Manzie or Bob Holcombe which I feel are the state of the art.

If you get the Porsche Panorama Vertex Auto has an advert. in the latest edition selling them for $1099.

I remember when they were $750 like Mike says.

I wish someone would buy them and test them and really put them through their paces.

Plus they do not come with heater boxes.

If I was a bit more skillful welder, had a access to a hoist and had much more time, I would make my own...I think that would be a fun home project

Id love to try and make my own too.

Since I have a garrett turbo on my car I will not buy B&Bs or GHLs since they do not come with the correct flange for the garrett. Whenever I get headers I will get them from someone that can build me some headers with the correct flange already on there so I do not have to spend a bunch of money on headers and then have to cut them up and change them.
I still have mixed feelings about heater boxes on the headers. I live in socal so its not like I really need them, but I dont know if I really want to go without them. I guess It just depends what I come up on.
