Default My 1st 930

Hi Guys, just joined the Furum ..

I live in Australia and I am currently driving a Holden Monaro - you guys in the states have them as the new Pontiac GTO, anyway this thing is a beast - 300kw V8 Machine

This car I have driven from New for only 18 Months.. Don't get me wrong I love the power etc .. My problem is I've always loved the 930's & there are a few I have my eye on.. Having not driven a Porsche yet am I going to be taking a step back when it comes to power ?? I know obviously you can't compare the V8 to the 6 but the Porsche is a lot lighter too I would expect ... I just love the look of these dang Porsches !! Just looking at all your rides in the posted pics & Loved them all !

I think the 1st thing I should do is test drive a couple - has anyone else come from a V8 to the porsche - ???

My wife thinks I'm nuts ...

Any Comments ???

Ben

Ben,
Welcome to the forum.

Just a few words. The stock 930 with a few decent good mods is a rocket and will outrun many todays sports cars. 400bhp is easily attainable with bolt on mods.

Hey Mate! I had a VT Clubsport (at least you'll know what one is). My 930 accelarates as fast as the Clubbie until the point when the turbo cuts in. Then the real fun begins! Go on! Help prop up the resale values of 930s in Oz.
