Sammer - You can buy Aeroquip hoses in a wide variety of sizes from No.3 all (vacuum size) the way to like No.20 (radiator hose size), with fittings to match and adapt.

Try www.summitracing.com for a summary.

Also do a search for Earls, they are now owned by Holley.

Yasin,

I just added a second oil cooler in my left front fender. I used Aeroquip connections and lines, AN-12. Pegasus Racing had an AN-12 to 30mm fitting to connect to the factory hard line.

Default I have used Goodridge AN

Hi Sameer. I used Goodridge AN Fittings and line on my 944 Turbo Fuel lines, etc. They make as good a product as anyone and you can order them direct from Goodridge. Try http://www.goodridge.net and go to the catalog section. Attaching the line to the fitting is a bit of a trick but I used the 1136 Series and have a great method that works really well for assembling them.

Hope this helps!

Default Here's a Picture

Attached is a picture I took of the red 944 Turbo in process but you can see the Goodridge custom lines that I fabricated.

Beautiful instal Fast82930!!

Sameer - Its easy really...all the stuff I know is self-taught pretty much, just have to take your time and be logical and patient AND have some good tools!

Also great work on the 944 Tom - looks awesome, love a well detailed and clean engine compartment!

What he said! I'm self taught as well and have pretty much done it all (except for body work, which I hate with a passion). Most of my previous builds were early Healeys, Triumphs, MGs, VWs (pre 1965 iron), and Porsche 356s. I'd rather buy the tools and do it myself. Hell my GTI never returned to the dealer after I drove it off the lot in 2002. But that's okay, 'cause I think I voided the warranty with the different cams, chip, headers, exhaust, coil-over suspension brake upgrade, etc.

Thanks guys.

I'm just getting back into DIY mode. Tool's, time and planning is all it takes.

Having a car lift, good tunes and a fully stocked refrigerator in the garage make it just that much nicer to do your own work .

Default Hi Yasin

I was looking at your photos of your engine (very nice by the way) and I noticed that you have a nice short exhaust coming off of your waste gate. I still have the large bulky one with the muffler. Could you please let me know where you got it and what they cost.

Thanks!

Tom
