Pete,
I just stripped out my whole interior during the paint job. No sound insulation, no carpeting and instead got the whole floor board sprayed matt black.

I plan on doing the same here in a few months except putting carpet back over it...you hear everything on the road in these cars anyways, I never saw the point in insulation. besides, a couple lbs. here and there will help out my power to weight ratio....not that I'll notice, but thats besides the point.lol

Jastx, you've got a beauty there yourself. You might want to give Steve at rennsport systems a call, He can set you up with a real nice suspension package...I mean since your in there replacing shocks anyways.
btw, the since im in here syndrome is how i ended up with a monster motor. modding your Porsche has to be just as addicting as crack. Probably in the same price range too

Here's some pics of my ride....Got the wheels cheap. Was worried that they would look strange on the 930 because they are 19"ers. I think they look great. The curve in the spokes actually compliments the curves of the car.

Thunder Punk,
You are a brave soul. I could not imagine having that minimal sidewall on my 930 here in the District of Columbia area. I would give it about 7 days before hitting an unanticipated pothole, Interstate Bridge expansion joint, etc. I've just had too many negative experiences with bent wheels on my other daily driver. I think that I have probably spent enough money to personal support the staff at Ye Ol' Wheel Shop here in Elkridge, MD.
I will say that your option looks good. I would drop that suspension about another .25" for a slightly more aggresive look. Overall,
Just "eyeing" that pic, I would guess that's a 30mm sidewall or smaller.

The wheels are HP Design "HP5" Silver. You can find them here http://www.hpracing.com/main.html
I actually bought mine on EBAY. Check Porsche>Wheels to find them. I paid $1,499 shipped for all four. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE750 from http://www.tiresavings.com I think I paid $790.00 for all four.
Wheels are 19X10 275X30 Rear with a set of two inch spacers and 19X8.5 235X35 Front with a set of two inch spacers. Ill be going to a 285 0r 295 rear and a 245 front next time around to fill out the wheel well. That would make them just about perfect.
And yes, I'm worried about hitting anything with these wheels. I live in Southern Louisiana and our roads suck the closer you get to the city. Where I live, just north of New Orleans, the roads are great. Smooth blacktop for miles on end. Still, I'm worried though.
