Why titanium???? Even F1 teams use inconel for their exhaust systems.
Go here for info on different metal applications in exhaust tubing: http://www.burnsstainless.com/index.htm

Agreed its inconel that the F1 teams use.
Its sucks that an entire 100mm dia (O.D) Titanium exhaust (turbo back to tail pipe) for the Twin turbo Supra is around $1200 and we do not have that availability.
Oh well

I'd call Burns directly and see if they'd be able to do something if that's what you really want. If they can't (wont) do it I'm sure they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
They have some basic cost outlaid here:

And if anyone would like to check my info it’s from March 2005 - Vol 15 No 03 Race Car Engineering. They speak to BTB Exhausts (one of two companies that supply exhaust to F1 the other being Primary Designs - Both are in England). From the article all F1 exhaust utilize Inconel 625, "an aerospace material with high heat resistance and the ability to outlive stainless steel, is now de rigeur in top flight motorsport and is filtering down to F3. It has been in F1 since the late 80's."

Exhaust are open (no muffler) straight out the top of the side pods beside the engines and in front of the gearbox. I'd love to see where you got your poor information

We can build titanium or inconel exhausts here at out shop in San Diego if anyone is interested. We can do inconel or 321ss headers too:^) Titanium might not be the best choice for a turbo cars since it can melt about 1200F.

In a documentary about F1 cars it stated that the exhaust systems are all hand made and translucent at operating temperature. Translucent exhaust on my Porsche, now thats tempting.
The problem I have been told about with Titanium custom made exhausts is that mandrel bends are not made in Ti, thus the welder has to cut "triangles" of pipe to create a "crayfish" like shell turn. The minimal loss in airflow though is out-weighed by the weight saving. This can and does dramatically increase the price.
