934 and 934.5 photos

I gotta tell you, I love just about any car that has the "Porsche" script on it at a race track, but for as long as I can remember the 934 and 935 has always owned my heart. Yep, it's my favorite...even beyond many of Porsche's racing "prototypes" (908, 917, 956, 962, etc.). And maybe that has something to do with those lines that still so closely resemble the ones found on the most basic 901 chassis (especially the 934)! It still looks like a car to me and not some engineering experiment. I can think of nothing to say other than: pure monster. The 917 (in any form or trim) would be next on the list!
Thanx for the great pictures and info! Maybe one of these days, sand_man will hit it big and then I'll hit a "real" 934!

I know this car. I have seen it many times.
"Yup prepared by Andial. Lovely.."
Actually not. That car was originally built by Canepa and the Engine first built by Jerry woods. The engine was then rebuilt after owner screwed it up by Performance Developments. PD rebuilt the engine, rebuilt the Intake, Intercooler etc, installed the EFI system and remapped the engine, and some sort of custom Oil valve to stop the Oil from draining into the engine. Both Jerry Woods and Canepa built the car to the spec's asked for. Their work was first class.
The owner never drove the car, and the engine filled up with Oil and then filled up the Turbo's. Blamed everyone but himself.
I am sure they (Andial) added some value with their involvement, but that sign is a twist of the facts. The people who deserve the credit for this are Canepa, Woods and PD.
