If you are looking for a replacement, I know the owner of this car. the auction ended but went south and the buyer is backing out.

There are of course many possible sources for this fire, but I'd make sure to check the fuel filter/condensor set-up closely. I had a pin-hole form in mine right where the clamp was holding it on. Fortunately the stream of fuel was pointed at the side of the car and not straight onto the engine.

Like I said, there are many possible sources, but I'd add this one (i.e. check filter casing for holes) to the list.

Hello,

Nah guys taking a break from Porsches at the moment. Things getting serious with the girl and need a bit more of a practical car. Put an order in for an S60r (what a deal!). I do plan to get another 930 in the next few years however.

I can't speculate too much on the cause (USAA still yet to conclude their 'cause' investigation) for various reasons but of the two scenarios I've got in mind one involves the fuel filter.

Thanks for everyones kind comments!

Handle the family. I can respect that. I was hoping I had a local running buddy.
