Default Ruf BTR Wanted

Looking for a 930 Ruf BTR or 964 RCT. If anyone knows of one coming on the market, please be so kind to bring it to my attention.

Many thanks,

If I'm not mistaken, Ruf Germany has got one for sale. I saw it over in their forum. Check it out. I'm not too sure if it's sold or not but I'm sure it would be worthwhile checking with them.

Sloancars.com has one for sale and I'm leaning to sell mine soon.

I'm almost sure the car went overseas. Last time I was in NY I was going call Sloan and stop by to see the car. It seems it was a nice car. Mine has more options from factory. I have to get some time to take some decent photos. The ones on the website still have the ugly wheels and the car was dirty. I took for a ride last week around 5:30am and it made me fall in love all over again.
Cheers,
Leo

Leandro,

I know exactly what you mean. Every time I drive my car and especially after awhile, I just fall in love with it all over again. It's an addiction.

I understand it went to Canada. I had someone check out the car for me and was told it was OK.

If I can't find what I'm looking for I just may have Ruf do one for me. Much more $$, but then it would be virtually brand new.

I also understand that Ruf can now fit w/EFI which would make driveability better.

Thanks for rubbing in how great having the BTR is.

Yes. EFI is the way to go if you are willing to spend the $$$$$$$$. There are lots of good stuff out there today. RUF uses a modified Bosch unit. I've heard that Bob Holcombe from Motorsports Design in Arizona is using a ECU unit called MEFI or something like it that is very good. About one year ago a guy here in FL sold a black/black 1989 factory slantnose with a 600+hp Bob Holcombe engine - What an engine!!!!! for $85k. Amazing craftsmanship. That car uses a Zytec ECU that is not manufactured anymore. Exclusive Motorcars also made some nice 930 engines using Zytec and MD intake.

Nope I did'nt. Mines still a Ruf BTR K Jetronic. If I go EFI, it will be none other than the Motec. The Ruf Motronic is old technology.

Adam,

Love your videos, especially the one with the r turbo and ctr on the airstrip. Anymore videos? I've also seen your 0-330km/hr ctr acceleration.

Thanks guys...Adam that one looks the buisiness, but I don't think I'd be able to import to US w/o adding some other bits and bobs. The PAR site does not have a real Ruf. Its one that somebody put wheels on. I called on it last week and like most brokers they knew very little about it.

Thanks again for the leads. I'll keep looking!
