Need advise on which differential GT or Quaife

ZF type LSDs are typically better for track use as they promote understeer under decel, allowing for more aggressive trail braking. Quiafe (and all torque biasing diffs) are great for street and autox, where trail braking does not really come into play.

Can anyone confirm whether or not LSD was standard in 930s or for what years?

I have an 89 that had LSD I have gone to Quaife to support 800hp. I have my LSD out of my 89 that is in perfect condition if your interested in buying it I would make you a fair deal. Not sure if it will bolt into a 4 speed.
