Hi:

I would appreciate it if someone could help me determine what year engine I have in my car. It is not the same year as the chassis and I want to get the correct info on it. I found two numbers on the engine:

1) 63E06781
2) 930 101 103 6R

I also found the following numbers on the Transmission:

1) 930 301 311 ORMB
2) 930 301 101 1R

Any help that you can give me would be great!

63E is Carrera 3,2 Model Year 1984

The engine type # is in the same area as the engine serial # (63E06781). I can't remeber if it's on the vertical pillar of the fan base or on the horizontal area to the right. The engine type # will give you more info as far as what it is and the specs for the motor (found in the little spec books sold by many parts dealers).
