Default Speedometer help

I need a replacement 930 [160mph] speedometer. My center drive unit went out. Any body know of one? My e-mail is yarbros@comcast.net.

You can also try:

North Hollywood Speedometer at http://www.nhspeedometer.com

I had some work done on my tach/boost gauge there last week and the service was great, as were the prices. I've never heard anything bad about them on this, or any other board.

Thanks for the advice. I found a used speedo at Georgia Dismantlers. I was able to go there physically and let me tell you it was a sad but exhillarating sight at the same time. So many Porsches and so many models to look at. I also needed some small items and David [He works there], let me take the parts off. I needed the inside sliding sunroof headliner panel and some screws as well as the speedo. Real nice people to deal with!
I had asked earlier about whit face overlays for the instruments in my 930 and I finally got them put in. It was easy and they look great. I know that the better option is the silk screen people but saving over $300 was just too good to pass up. I did buy a K 27 from Stephen along with a one bar spring and will let you know how it turns out. I will have it dynoed to get a real picture. Stock was dynoed at 263 RWHP.

Jim,
They are located just north of Atlanta, Ga. and do most of their business by mail or e-bay. Their e-mail adress is germanautodismantlers.com. They had turbos, RS America, A brand new GT 3 that crashed on it's first race. It was a wonderland. Not like some of the newer yards that have everything all stacked and neat. This yard you just go find a car that you want to look at and go to it.
If you call them for a part, have the new part price because they usually halve it. Ask for David.
