Slantnose '89 worth $25K?
Interested in a 930S '89 w/ 150K Miles. Turbo rebuilt at 90K. What would your concerns be about this engine? No engine rebuild. Is this milage concerningly high w/ no rebuild?
I know every car is different, but i have no experience w/ 911 turbo engine. what should i look out for? Will a PPI check for turbo 'wear' (if there is such a thing)
thanks
mike

I'd pass on this one. Is the slantnose a preference, have you had a 930 before?
High mileage, I would want a motor that had been rebuilt if it had that kind of mileage. Repairs can be expensive on these monsters. For 25k you can get an example with lower mileage, and a freshened up motor, some with updates. Look around, and don't buy the first one you drive. Learn from trying out a few what they should feel like, perform like...and find a good mechanic who can advise you.
My cars are all turn key dependable, as a result of this approach.

I can't say for sure what the particular car here is worth, but if you can find a 89S with low miles for 25k let me know!
