What's the best source for the Kokeln? And while replacing the intercooler seems like this would be a good time to upgrade the stock turbo? I have a stock '86 with 60k.

C2 Turbo

I have B&B headers & exhaust along with 1 bar boost spring,so would i see any gains by upgrading the IC ? Would an IC increase the turbo lag ?

Yasir,
If your running on a 1 bar spring, you better upgrade to the bigger intercooler or you'll really be damaging your engine. No the Kokeln intercooler will not increase turbo lag.

Sammer is right, my thought about IC's are get the best one you can afford or not afford and go in debt.

I have the B&B IC in my 78 930 and this weekend I saw the Koklen in person and let me tell you that had I seen the Koklen first I would have gone with the Koklen. You can tell the diference in material and wormanship. The B&B is good but when I bought it I just got the IC and nothing else.
Koklen offers the kit which includes other goodies that B&B doesn't even offer. That's my 2 cents.

Stephen just sold me a K27HF and I am in the process of installing it. I will let you know how it performs against the stock turbo. I had the old turbo dynoed and I will get the new one tested once I get it in. I also bought the one bar spring from Stephen and that will be tested too.

There will no comparison about it, the hi-flow is way better than the other turbos you had on there and now your going to run 1bar.
