The info I have is that all the 20/100 LSD's make noise some much more than others. I have 5k miles on the swepco oil. It was changed at 30k and it made a lot of noise. The additive was added and it lasted about 2 years and 4500 miles. Now it is back to making the noise again. My paperwork from Champion and Andial states that my LSD may be a bit louder than most but the noise is acceptable per Porsche.

I recently changed my fluid w/o the additive, and it does make those grinding noises on slow start turns to the right-left... not driving straight. the wrench said to stop by for some LSD additive to stop that annoying sound/ feel...

Default I did not use LSD additive

It works great with just the Swepco 201. I asked two very experienced 930 pros and niether indicated a need for it.
