Default Indy shop in Tucson or Phoenix area recomendations

Hello everyone...

I just purchased an '87 Turbo and am looking to have a thorough inspection and service any items needing attention. Recommendations of a trusted independent in Tucson (where I live) or the Phoenix area would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

You end up finding anything? I’m in Tucson as well, there was an old shop radenbacher or something like that which closed down in the last couple years so I’m looking for a place to go as well. All I can say is I recommend against autohaus. I generally prefer to do my own work but would like a shop here and there.

Unfortunately, no...nothing in Tucson.

I ended up having my car transported to TurboKraft in Mesa. Read some very good things about them and...at least so far...am impressed. Chris Carroll is the owner and he has been very responsive to my questions and is quite knowledgeable.

Exotic Motorwerks in Scottsdale was also recommended to me. My research concluded they appear to be a good shop as well...no first hand experience, however.

If I come across something in Tucson, I will update here.

There was a place I had talked to called European Service on 1st, they work on Porsches. When I called them in the past, I had a great experience/response but have not had work there. I was considering a replacement transmission on a S124 and they talked me through it and helped me decide it wasn't worth it.
I may take mine there and will update on my experience.
Your needs are probably different than mine since you have a Turbo.

Chris is THE place for these cars. People ship them from all over to have him do work on them. Worth the drive.
