I have been transferred to SE Florida (office in downtown Lauderdale) and looking for homes in Boca and Parkland areas at this point). I have a pretty heavily modified 94 3.6 Turbo, and need to find an honest shop that can handle servicing the car. Not a fan of dealers, looking for a good shop that can work on modified car's. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't know a single soul in SE Florida. Stephen Kaspar from ImagineAuto has done all the work on this car for the past few years.

PS: any help with getting hooked up with the local PCA chapter would also be a real help.

I personally know marco at billet design 954 975 3557 and Jose at Turbowerks 954 771 1177, they are both P nuts and own cars themselves. They both do honest work at reasonable rates.

A safe and beautiful town, you don't have to worry about your car [or your life] like you do in downtown Miami.

Boca and Parkland are great places- But you'll find that areas in Plantation that are waterfront [canals] have far better investment potential, but the Fort Lauderdale isles...the waterfront streets about 1/2 mile east of downtown that come off of Los Olas Blvd. are the best! You'll make $50k/year just from owning the land...but these are NOT cheap places!

Email me if you want more details, since I plan on moving to Fort Lauderdale this year and me and my girlfriend have done a lot of real estate research.

For the Porsche end of things...I've also heard that Gulf is the PLACE in the area, though Pompano isn't exactly Fort Lauderdale.

Welcome to Fort Lauderdale. I accepted a job offer here last August and have enjoyed it ever since. I'd kill for a ride in the passenger seat of a 930 - so if you ever have free time, I'd buy lunch for a ride. Although I'm 75% sure that's what I want to buy I have yet to even get a ride in one (the other choice would be a 993 n/a).
