Even as a lifelong Porschephile, I've never really liked that ad. Seemed a touch snobbish. Those 300ZX twin turbos were pretty cool, and I loved the 3000GT VR-4 when it came out.


But other Porsche ad taglines I loved:

"It's about as fast as you can go without having to eat airline food" (964)

"One ride and you'll understand why most rocket scientists are German" (jumping 930)

"It gets a little bit louder above 5000 rpm so you can't hear the passenger scream" (965)

"If Pavlov had experimented with humans, he would have used this" (911 cab)

I really like this one:
