Anyone had success using Dr ColorChip to address chips followed by application of PPF?

No - don't do it. you will have acne and the PPF won't seal up right. Its not that expensive to repaint it right. Is the car orig paint? if so Id just leave it...

I did it and don’t have any regrets. I don’t feel the chips show any worse. It’s all a matter of prep. The panel needs to be touched up, color sanded if needed, and buffed so that the repairs are as flat as possible. Any craters Will need a few drops of paint to get them closer to flush.
