Default when did CIS go bye bye?

Which was the first year that the 911 turbo lost CIS? Or rephrased, when did the 930 get modern EFI? I know its a simple question, but I couldn't figure out how to get a search engine to find the answer.

Thanks for your patience

Hi Luke:

The '94 3.6 Turbo was the last one with CIS fuel injection. The next one in the lineage was the 993 Twin-Turbo which received a very sophisticated version of Motronic,...(thank God).

Thanks, Steve.

I couldn't remember if any of the 3.3 or early 3.6s were ever on Motronic. Not so lucky, hmmm. Well EFI is just money I guess So they waited almost 10 years for the Turbos after the Carreras...got to love limited production models. Companies will always update the 4 door passenger cars 2-3 times faster than their flagship sportscars. Wierd how that work.
