Default Every bolt snaps!

You guys don't know how lucky you are living in warm climes............

I stripped the entire front suspension on my car last night including the struts, A arms, crossmember, steering rack etc.

Both bolts holding the cross member in place have sheared off flush with the body! This is despite applying heat and letting it cool 3 times, tapping the bolt heads to break the stiction, applying penetrating oil for two days, and working the bolt back and forth before going for the big one.

Oh well, where did I put that drill?

The pedal box bolts look like they are made of cheese, nearly fell apart last night when I just looked at them!

BJ, I hear your pain. Whenevery one of my bud's complains about some small disassembly problem, I always reference some of the problems we could be having after seeing pics from the UK. It seems chronically worse than our east coast brothers, but that may be due to the fact that many of them put their cars away for the winter completely. You guys get the wet stuff all year round, right?
