Been looking at those pictures on the "Show your turbo here" thread. Those cars look so great. Mine is now 14 years old and showing a little bit of paint imperfections, like faint lines that look like microscopic scratches, but can't rub them out with swirl remover, polish, you name it. I've even thought about doing a full paint job, replacing the window seals and other exterior rubber, etc. The car is metallic silver. Needs no body work.

Has anyone done this lately? Cost? Worth the trouble? Just wondering.

Yes, I recently did a bare metal , all pieces off paint restoration as well as new seals, new lenses and new shiny wurth bolts all over and no oversprays. That car was wrapped tight from inside out. It came back better than new. No imperfections and concours quality. It set me back $8,000 for all and it took 6 months but seemed like forever. Is it worth it? depends if you;re keeping the car. I know I will never get all my money back but it places the car to an excellent condition category when selling.

Euro Pro's in Gaithersburg Maryland. 301-977-7475. 90% of the cars they work on are Porsches. The rest are Beamers, MB & Audis.
