The pros, if you live in an area where they check you will have to have it. If not then the cons are it causes the exhaust to run hotter and the added weight. It is a band-aid anyway. You could stick a hair dryer in the exhaust and do the same thing

I cringe everytime I get a car in for a PPI and it has the pump. Argh, they are in the way and 90% of them are almost never hooked up and still pass the sniff test. LOL, whats that tell ya?

I just left mine on for a visual. I've had many cars where I've removed all kinds of emmisions stuff, only to find out I don't know where it all goes back on.
The pump and manifold would be easy, but it's one more thing to store...And I have a garage full already.
