Not yet - WD40 is not going to make a difference at this point as the bar is really moving around. I have a feeling they gave me a wrong sized collar as I know there are different sizes of bars and the 2 inner collars actually have different sized and different looking studs in them. Ironically I actually mentioned this to TRG and they didn't think it was an issue at the time. This will only add a few more hours to the 4-6 extra hours I have spent on this project due to the other parts they failed to send me initially.

Yeah the collar should be a snug fit. I hear a clunk in mine from time to time that I solve with a quick squirt of wd40 on the heim joints.

Well I thought I would post what I hope to be the final resolution of this issue for any future posters that may read this thread. TRG apparently got a few bad bars from their supplier - one of which ended up shipping to me. The bar was a little too thin in diameter so it was rattling around in the bushing and making quite a racket. We went up to TRG on Saturday and they helped me swap it out for a correctly machined bar. The correct bar fit very tightly in the bushing - you had to exert a fair amount of force to slide the bushing on. Whereas with the incorrectly machine bar you could easily slide the bushing on and move it along the bar. Once the new bar was installed, the rattling went away. The handling feels great as well. Basically the car stays flat - should be great on the track.

It is a good thing I did this one myself - despite the fact that it made me feel at times as if I were losing my mind. I cannot imagine the extra labor that would have been incurred if I paid an independent shop to install this bar.

No kidding. And you know all the important stuff is well tightened when you hit your brakes going into a turn.
