So i called my local car reupholstery shop sent them photos of my 1986Porsche 930 dash that is a little warped they said they can reupholster the dash in viynl for $1200. Is it possible to reupholster a warped dash on a 930 or does it need a brand new one? I know the glass has to be removed to redo the dash does $1200 sound like a right price to do this job? I have heard it costs at least $2600-$3000
do you guys recommend a good shop in los angeles that has experience with porsche that can do it?
I had the dash in my 1979 930 restored and reupholstered by Autos International in Escondido, CA...did an awesome job. My dash pad was in bad shape too...cost me $2,500. $1,500 of that was to restore the pad...the remaining $1,000 was for recovering in leather.
