Sorry if it’s an obvious question but since everything imported during these years was grey import or the like, and since Canada still had new cars being sold from 1980-84. Well would I be correct in assuming it doesn’t matter what paperwork comes with the car regarding how they got it legal on the road in the USA, I should still be able to import it into Canada from the USA. Some of the 1980-84 stuff for sale comes with interesting paperwork, for want of a better term.
