I'm curious how your guy determined it was the alternator?

He explained to me in detail but unfortunately I forgot the details. He said the battery light in the dash was blinking. He tried to turn on the headlights but they would come up very slowly. He replaced the alternator and car runs perfect.

Hmmm....low voltage then I guess, but one would think a well charged battery would smooth that out. Just proves once again that the cure for all 930 ills is to replace stuff until the problem goes away :-) Glad she's back on the road again, trouble free.
