Default 85 930s pistons

Can you use 965 pistons in a 930 3.3 engine withought any other mods? I see them advertised as fitting with only cooling tin modifications. If is doable, would it be advatageous? I want to go tomfully finned pistons, and while I was at it, might as well increase displacement to 3.4 but I di not want to alter the case.

Think they are 98cm. 3.3 case is 97mm.

97cm and 98cm. They could possibly fit the pistons are frozen and the case is warmed.

98mm is slip-fit into the engine case with no mods.
Yes, you must always trim the lower cylinder air guide plates, or, replace with 3.2L Carrera air guides.
