Default oil cooler and front spoiler

I have a 83 cab with a turbo motor right now. I have the 3.3 turbo oil cooler with the fan and want to replace my front spoiler and put a front mount cooler up there. Any one have pics and prices on the conversion. Thanks John

WAY COOLER.

In fact, when it is 70 or cooler, I block most of the oil cooler opening off with racers tape.

2 weeks ago at VIR, I blocked off the entire opening because it was below 50.

Even in 92 degree weather when I first ran the front end, my temps never went above halfway on the gauge.

TRE Motorsports is where I bought the front end.

I bought the oil cooler at Heintz Performance - do a search on the web.
I got a steal on my oil cooler at $200. 22in x 5 1/2 in x 2 in - AN12 fittings

Bought the stainless hose and Aeroquip AN12 fittings at BSR Products, and from The Racer's Group in CA. They have the 30mm to AN12 adapters to go on the end of the oil lines.

Hi Brian,

My 930 have a similar set up with the front oil cooler like your. I am curious to the potential problems (other than the engine can't reach optimium operating temperature) if the engine oil does not get recirculate between the engine and the front oil cooler during cold weather. I am wondering if I should try to block off the opening for the front oil cooler in order to achieve a complete oil circulation. Thanks for your help.

I normally just block mine off. The cooler is still warm, so I know the oil is circulating.
