Default Header Tick

I attached an Mp3 so that you guys can try to get an idea of what i am hearing. Is that tick normal header tick? Or am I leaking at the flanges?

The sound is coming from the headers not the outlet of the exhaust. It is not the joint where the 2 headers meet and no cracks on the headers.

I already tried replacing the gaskets but still the same. Was thinking about removing them again and applying some high heat Rtv but before i do that, just wanted to see if this was normal header tick and if so any ideas to get rid of it?

thanks

Sounds pretty normal to me. Can you do one with a little throttle applied? When was the last time you had a valve adjustment?

Great, normal works for me as I really don't want to remove the headers again! It has been about a year since the valve adjustment. Attached is sound with varying rpms

I hear the tap, could be an exhaust leak or a rocker arm.
Try the gasket trick first then pop the valve cover and take a look.

I had a tap in mine, and it was because an adjusting screw had backed out, bent a rocker arm and spindle, and was rattling around the valve cover. Go with TT Surgeon's suggestion.
