Nice James! Did Vision Motorsports make that header system for you?

So, after the sale what car is next??

The header was done by a contractor of 911 Design (Loren Beggs). They have a jig of mine so they can build more.

321 stainless with Reid Washbone (spelling??) flanges. Very nice work.

The car weighs ~2700lbs depending on fuel level with the cage. Without it would be around 2650.

On new slicks I would think the car could run 1:25's.

Next is still up in the air. I am waiting for the SCCA's SEB to make some rulings on classing for the next year before making any decision.

Nice ride. I actually saw it for sale on another site. I can't remember the asking price but I thought it was a little high, like 60 or 70,000. Is this correct. Not saying it isn't worth it to the right person. Do you still have your fuchs?

I have it for sale on AutoTrader.com for $49,500 and on PCA's site for the same price. A while back I was asking $65K, but I am resigned to getting less:-)

The Fuchs were sold a while back.

Beautiful car.

What kind of turbo could I build for $20k (inc. purchase of car)?

Track only use by the way, but still street legal.

James - do you have a dyno sheet with AF ratio on it? Also, it looks to still have AC - where did you move the condenser. Finally - will it pass CA smog?

There is no AC on the car now the car weighs 2,700lbs though:-)

I can get a dyno run on the car, but it will take me a bit to arrange..

We tuned using wideband 02 and datalogging starting with a base map from an identical motor that has run well in POC's GT1-R for years (Loren Begg's white car). The car runs ~ 10.7:1. I have an in car AF meter in the car too to monitor for any problems.

Thanks for the replies - why didn't you go to a twin plug ignition system?

It has twin plug -- dual MSD 6a's controlled by the Motronic firing MSD coils going to a 964 twin plug distributor.

Oh - I could not see any holes or plugs running into the lower valve covers. What type of system did you use for that.

I should tell you that I am just curious about your car. I own a pretty modified 930 but yours is a few steps further along. The suspension looks really interesting as well. Is this car streetable?

Why are you selling after so few miles? I would imagine you must have six figures into this car.

There are wires going into the lower valve covers. System? Stock wires.

As much as possible I tried to use all factory Porsche parts. Factory wiring harness from the 3.2 carrera, factory sensors, etc.

I am selling the car to do more road racing.

When I said system - I meant what twin plug setup - it almost looks like you are running a 964 dual distributor setup but I htough that would not fit on the 3.3 engine.

In any case - it looks like a good deal for someone who knows what all this stuff costs to do. Good luck.
