Injectors replacement?

Injectors replacement?
Has anyone pulled their injectors on their CIS fuelled Turbo's before? Were they in good shape, bad shape? I am thinking about doing an injector replacement and/or cleaning, but wanted to know if anyone has any experience doing that.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've not pulled them on my Turbo, but have on my SC. They are the same type, i.e a mech injector. There's not much to see.
Before you buy new ones, try soaking them in a bottle of Chevon fuel injector cleaner. Just drop them in the bottle and let them soak in there for 2- 3 days with a little shake every once in a while.
I them remove them from the injector cleaner and with a can of brake cleaner, stick the red tube into the cans spray nozzle and then into the injector to really clean them out. This will also show if you have a good spray pattern.
It's a cheap way to clean what you have (and makes a big difference from before and after), but if you need new ones, I think they are about $45 as the old ones can't be rebuilt.

Do it the right way and send them out to be checked, cleaned and balanced. It will run you around $150 but you will know the pressure for the on and off, spray pattern and flow. Even if you bought new injectors you would need to get them checked out.

To buy new and check would be about $450 or so. I'm sure this would optimize them, but if you're on a budget, you might have to make do.

At C&C fuel injection Dave Capurro has a collection of these injectors that he will swap out to get you a matched set. Alot of times the injectors will come back to spec. after cleaning. The question is to what CC level? Still a better way to go I think.
