C2 Turbo intercooler

You will need to update to the C2T blow off system as well as remove the rear wiper. The factory silicone hose from the turbo to the intercooler and a few needed brackets and studs. If you need a parts list let me know, I can put one together for you.

Is the C2 intercooler the same thickness as the 77/78/79 version but with a larger matrix face ?.
This might be a nice upgrade for me on my "duck tail" Turbo. With a duck tail, intercooler height is the limiting factor.
Can some one with a C2 measure the length x width x height of the stock intercooler (matrix or core only, not the end tanks) so I can compare cubic capacity with early version ?.
Thanks, Paul

Paul,
The problem is not the core size I believe is it is so much the shape. If you look at the C2T intercooler it is not just a rectangle it actually bows out in the center for the neck of the pipe. The cross section is about 8 3/4, but flares out to 11 inches. The long way is 22 3/4 and the core depth is 3 1/4. I would suspect that the 11 inch bow would cause an issue.
