Default Where to get tachometer signal from in a 3.2

Ok guys, here is a good challenge. I have a pre 73 911 that was converted years ago (when these cars were worth a lot less than now) to a 3.2 engine. I also have a 3.2 tachometer, but the electrical wiring was a mess and the guy that worked in the car before me reinstalled most of the wiring with different colors...

so my question is, can anyone tell me where to get the signal for the rpm from? And where to connect it in my 3.2 tach

I am attaching a picture of the back of the tach where it can be seen that I only have 3 connectors numbered 2, 5 and 6

can anyone help with this one?

thanks in advance

Think I found the answer myself:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...tap-3-2-a.html

From there it looks like RPM signal from PIN 21 of DME (black/purple cable) to PIN 2 in the tach
PIN 5 of tach to +
PIN 6 of tach to -
