I was wondering what the largest height and width wheel is that I can fit on my car with the stock flair size. Also if I change to turbo flairs what size can I run? I'm looking at putting big reds on also. Is that going to change the offset I need?
Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
I have a 76S with 6X16 Fuchs in from and 7X16 in rear with 205/50 Series tires on them. The clearance is find at all four corners. The 6" fronts leave at least 3/4 of an inch of clearance while the 7" rears fill out the wheel well very nicely. I had 7X15 cookie cutters on the car before, w/ 60 (maybe 65) series tires and my left fender got all chewed up. I went with the 50 series in the front to make sure I had clearance and chose the 50 series in back just to match. I could have gone with 55 series in back I and I might have been fine, but the 50 series are pretty tight with the Fuchs. Now I need to send my speedo in for calibration.

My car currently has 15x6 with 195/66/15's in front and 15x7 with 205/60/15 in the rear. It looks like those are going to be all I can fit unless I get flairs on the car. If I upgrade the brakes though will I need a different offset? I don't want to buy wheels and need new ones because of a brake upgrade.
