Default Enclosed carrier recomendations??????

All,
Thanks for bearing with me in this .....I need a enclosed carrier to transport my 82 911SC from Seattle to Winchester Va. Any recommendations?
Obviously price counts, but not at the cost of service,.

Tim-
I used Dependable Auto Shippers when I moved my Targa from Houston to SF a few years ago. Wasn't cheap, but it was enclosed the entire way and they delivered it to my front door.
You might do a search on Pelican, as this has come up periodically and there are several other outfits that people have used and liked, though I can't remember them off hand.

Thanks Steve,
I have a quote from them as we speak.
Just looking for other options and to see if one or the other is better.

Tim,

I used Intercity Lines, http://www.intercitylines.com/, to deliver my 87' Carrera. Not cheap, but the service was top notch. Car arrived without incident and in perfect condition.

I also recommend Intercity. I've used them twice, and could not have had better serive. I thought I would save some money and used Goldrush to transport my Boxster from San Diego and the car got damaged by the truck driver.

I just used Intercity cross country, and the service was fine.

Thanks for all the replies.
I went with DAS as they had the best price (not lowest)$1345.00 and shipping times. Hope this works... I will post the results.
