Default Air Fuel Ratio Meter and Voltmeter Install

For all who might want to add gauges to your 911, mine an 87 Targa, you can unscrew the ash tray mount and, without drilling anything, mount the standard VDO plate in the same spot for a near OEM look. Wish the air fuel ratio meter was available as analog from VDO.

I just picked up the same AFM a few weeks ago from Bisimoto with the extra long cable. Thinking of using the same spot.

Cool! I didn't order an extra long cable and had a bit left over. I was pretty happy about not having to drill anything...even used the screws for the ashtray on the bracket. The only think I might consider is covering the bracket with black leather and getting the black cover for the back of the voltmeter.

Here's a shot of the cat sensor.

You can weld in a second bung. That's what I did on the test pipe, so that I can monitor AFR under load.

Great idea; I have been planning to mount an AFR and voltmeter guages in the console but there isn't enough space to align two 2" guages beside one another in my '82 930. I like what you've done and will copy it - no custom fabrication required. I may even hang the bracket from the bottom of the ashtray providing the weight doesn't open the tray on bumps as I'd prefer to keep the trim piece for the ashtray intact.
