Default Vote on R taillights

Aside from the weight savings I can't get over the break from the center lens to the R lights. Love em or hate em??

I can't stand them - only works (sort of) on a proper R (or proper replica) where they serve their primary function.

I've never been a big fan of the R lights. They're fine on an R but not so much much on other models.

On the other hand I've done silly things to my car.

You can get everything at TRE or Rebel S Racing now for $350

I think I did a thread on it years ago. Everyone give you **** on the internet but drools over them in person.

I vote for the R. It really completes the package on your car with the tail and bumper and tailpipe treatment

n8 said it best. It really does work on the car.

What are you doing about the plate lights? They also need to be the correct Hella lights. They are from an old BMW 2002. They come chromed and you scuff them up and paint them black.

I have always like Amber Gramps car with R tail lights and License plates lights. he has inspired me to do the same on my 75.

Anyone have a set of R taillights they want to sell?
