Sorry for the thread hijack dangit, but it's not like the OP came back.

So, the drawstring bag would need to be wide enough to get your mitt into, so 4" diameter base.

At least 6" tall.

The shape would be like this, but the drawstring is a single leather cord, which is tied into a loop, not two strings. Just one long continuous cord.

Another item would be a leather fitted cover for a Cayman key, which is the only key that Porsche does not offer a leather cover for. The Porsche key pouch is too small to fit it.

The hijacking is cool! Really funny to read and it had actually given me some good ideas along the way. It also helps other out. I do like the drawstring bag idea, this is handy and useful for everyone.
