Well you are definitely going to pay a premium if you bought it through a dealer or a dealer was anywhere near it.
Definitely looks like a very nice example though.

Looks great! How many miles on her? Also, got interior shots? I just got a 78 with 37K miles and in excellent condition. Was it expensive?

Ahhh... ok I see it on this pic. I am in the process of getting the classic radio but I am wondering what speakers to get (doors) and can I keep the door speaker grills in place?

Ifox any info on her ? I had them replace the bear bite bumper but I'm keeping the original ones as I love the story tagged to her. Good luck on the radio setup.

I don't ... I had spoke to Travis before about finding me a low mile SC but I found one myself before he could. Did you pay outright or finance through Porsche Financial (what I did) ?

Lol. Now that you say that it does sound strange. I only ask because not a lot of people know that Porsche started financing. That's all.

Just took a look at Colorado Springs inventory since that nice looking Talbot Yellow sparked my interest in their Porsche Classic Center.

What am I missing regarding the astronomical asking price on the car below

I talked to them about that car. I guess it's been completely restored. That's all I got.
