Default oil pump passage size

I'm doing an early 911 motor and I want to have the oil pump passage update where you drill the oblique passage from the oil pressure relief into the pressure pump input. I'm having the job done locally and i want to make sure it's done right. What size should the passage be? I'll bet this has been posted before, but I can't find it.

Also has anyone experimented with leaving out the copper gaskets under the cylinders on an early motor? It seems to me you could seal the joint between the bottom of the cylinders and the case with RTV (like on a VW) and get 0.010" out of your deck. Of course you have to make sure you still have .89mm min of piston to head clearance and 1.5mm of pistion to valve clearance.

Thanks for your help.
