need 05 to 12 Alarm Wiring Diagram
Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram for a 2005 to 2012 911 showing factory alarm. I am looking to figure out how to upgrade my 30 year old 944 alarm to something less likely to show its age.
Thanks

I am sure on that generation of car they use sensors monitored by the Ecu to set alarm conditions.
That may not be possible for you to emulate
If it has a separate alarm control unit it may be possible.
Personally I don't think alarms stop thieves.

The 944 used a dme relay under the driver's seat. Maybe you can install a hidden kill switch there.
I agree with Ice. My '11 Cayman has all sorts of sensors, including some sort of gyro or motion sensor. It is run by the DME. My dogs set it off if I leave them in the car.

Actually, it seems the 2005 to 2013 is composes of just a few parts with one wire to the DME to trigger a starter interrupt. Here are the parts involved, I just need to see a wiring diagram to identify wire hookup.

I would say it's nearly impossible to add all that stuff. Never knew about the infrared sensors. I wonder if those work like motion detectors? Could be that's why my dogs set off the alarm, which would be badass. I would look again at your stock wiring diagram. Look for an unused circuit, or add a fuse block that can be hidden, and figure out how to install some factory switches into the dash, such as the rear window wiper, the push/pull button for extra lights, etc. Then decide on a combination of switches that must be on and momentarily pushed to run the starter, and run a relay. The rear window wiper button alone might be enough.
