Default quick rubber seal question

I'm replacing my taillight lenses, also the old cracked seals between them and the taillight housings. The old seals appear to be glued to the housing with some kind of adhesive. Attempting to install without gluing doesn't work out well, since they roll off when you push in the housing.

What adhesive would you recommend for this application? Thanks guys.

I have new seals, was wondering what to glue them on with.

Glad to know it's not just me being a newbie.

I have some seals waiting to go in too .
I have some wurths Sabesto rubber glue and was going to use that .. it looks the same colour as the original. I was amazed the original stuff was still kind of pliable after almost 40 years.
Worked great for putting my Targa seal on.

I might try a little bead of DAP silicone adhesive. It's just a little difficult to do it cleanly.

I have the super adhesive but wouldn't use that . its black , messy and a pain to work with. I used it on my tail seal which is fine .. but its pretty tight around that light housing..

Love this car! Steel slantnose awesomeness. The Braid wheels are over the top. It's in good hands too.

LOL. Total bonehead move not to bring mine. We will do it again soon. The two cars side by side would be an awesome display of just how similar yet different the 911 can be.

They have a yellow version that is much easier to use.

Garm, you sitting down?

I got $250 knocked off my wheel order today. Yep, traded your old for my new. The 8's are likely already spoken for and on their way to the polisher.

I owe you big time. Seriously, anything.

...and I went ahead and picked up the 9's. He had 8's, but I'm going full retard as usual.
