Default Rode in a GT3

I attended a TracQuest driver's ed at Watkins Glen this past weekend, but not as a driver. I was shooting in-cars videos and testing software. My first volunteer has a brand spanking new GT-3. He's had the car a little over a week and it's already on the track! Not only did I get to shoot video, but also rode shotgun during his red group session!! Not much to say other than the GT3 is worthy of any early 911 enthusiast's adoration. Simply marvelous.

Here's a frame from the video. You'll notice the tach sitting at zero. We weren't able to connect a rpm sensor. Maybe next time ...

And, here's the car:

Thanks to Richard for the ride in his car (and Stu for brokering the "deal"), Todd for letting me hang out and Steve for the picture. Oh, and Tony for the idea to go with him to The Glen. A good time was had by all!

It looks like the GT3 is holding up traffic.

Sweet.

Please tell me the GT3 was able to turn better than the 2:22 shown in the first picture.

(also, what type of data logger does your software use as input? I have a DL90 and would be interested...)

I'm sure it is, but the car was a week old and wasn't being pushed.

Currently, the DL-90. Shoot me an email and I'll put you on the information list.
