Question Weber carbruator adjustment????

When checking/setting the proper fuel discharge from the dump tube what is the length of time that you hold down the linkage? The reason that I ask is because the amount of fuel changes considerably depending on length of time that the throttle is held open. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Erick

Hi Erick:

Assuming that you are referring to the accelerator pump outputs, and setting injection quantities,... this is what I do.

Holding that vial under the nozzles, I simply operate the throttles as I would with my foot; push them open kinda quickly and release.

Adjust the little threaded rod to get the proper injection volume, and you're done. I set them slightly rich if you are using larger-than-normal main venturies to prevent a flat spot.

Hope this helps,
